Daniel Bindschedler is a professional cellist based in Portland, Oregon.

 

He performs solo and as the musical partner of singer-songwriter Robin Bacior. Together, Bacior and Bindschedler have released a full length album, Rest Our Wings, an EP titled I left You, Still in Love and will be releasing a new concept album, Water Dreams, in January 2015

 

Bindschedler is known for his unique style of cello playing that combines classical, Jazz and weird improvisation, in addition to lush abstract sounds created by a variety of effects pedals. 

 

Oh, and his cello's name is Gloria.
